An individual has been apprehended with two illegal firearms in Ja-ela, police said.
The suspect was arrested during a search operation carried out last evening, according to police.
Two automatic pistols, live ammunition and 26 milligrams of heroin were also seized during the raid, an official said.
The suspect will be produced before the Kadawatha Magistrate’s Court today.
