A mother and a daughter has been killed following an accident involving a trishaw and a bus in Waskaduwa on Tuesday.
According to police, the accident occurred on Kalutara - Waskaduwa road at around 2.30 p.m.
The driver of the bus was arrested following the accident, Ada Derana reporter said.
The remains of the deceased are kept at the Panadura Base hospital pending autopsy.
