Four deaths in two separate accidents

Two women were killed after a three-wheeler veered off the road and crashed into a tree in the Padawugama area in Lunugamvehera.
The driver of three-wheeler and two female passengers were admitted to the Lunugamvehera Hospital in critical condition.
However, the two female passengers, both 40-year-old residents of Tissamaharama, succumbed to injuries.
Meanwhile in a separate accident another two persons were killed after two lorries collided near the Kaduwela fuel station on the Colombo-Kaduwela road.
A 23-year-old and a 31-year-old succumbed to injuries while the driver of one of the lorries was taken into custody.
