President Sirisena would be the ideal candidate – Dissanayake

President Maithripala Sirisena would be the most ideal candidate for the next Presidential election in 2020 to represent the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP), Minister Duminda Dissanayake says.
He expressed this view while speaking at a meeting held in Anuradhapura on Monday.
“However, the President has said that he would be able to contest only one time,” he said.
Dissanayake pointed out former President Mahinda Rajapaksa also not capable of contesting at the next Presidential election according to the terms of the Constitution.
