The Excise Department has suggested to close all liquor shops across the country during special holidays as well including Christmas Day, the Department has said.
Issuing a statement, the Excise Department said liquor shops will be closed on all Poya Days, Independence Day, day before and on Sinhala and Tamil New Year, Ramadan and Christmas Day as well.
