Govt. to implement RTI Act from February 3

The Gazette has been published announcing date of enforcement of the Right to Information Act as from 3 February.
The Cabinet has approved the proposed Right to Information Bill (RTI) on 3 December, 2016.
The RTI will be an act provide for the right to information; specify grounds on which access may be denied. The establishment of the Right to Information Commission; the appointment of Information Officers; setting out the procedure for obtaining official information and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto have also been done according.
