Heavy traffic congestion has been reported in Sarikkamulla area in Moratuwa on the Old Galle Road due to a protest, Ada Derana reporter said.
The residents of the area are protesting while obstructing the road urging authorities to recommence the road development activities along the Old Galle Road, it was reported.
The police also advised the drivers to use alternative roads if at all possible.
