Medagama ATM robbery: two suspects arrested

Two individuals who had allegedly involved in looting cash from an ATM of a state bank in Medagama area in Monaragala have been apprehended, the police said.
The suspects were apprehended by a policemen team attached to the Wellawaya police last afternoon.
The suspect had stolen cash amounting to a tune of Rs.5.7 million from the ATM.
According to police, the incident has taken place on 20 January and police was informed of the incident after a janitor witnessed the incident on Sunday.
