Govt. ready to discuss shortcomings - Faizer

If there are shortcomings in final draft of the Delimitation Commission, the Government is ready to discuss the matter with political parties, Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government Faizer Mustafa says.
Mustafa also stressed that the Government has no intention of delaying polls.
It was also reported that a discussion will be held with party leaders and the Prime Minister in this regard within next few days as well.
Minister Rajitha Senaratne yesterday while clarifying that the Delimitation Committee had to take some time to conclude its task, went on to say its final report will be gazetted on 31 January.
