Three undergraduates were hospitalized after they were allegedly assaulted by a lecturer at the Wayamba University, Ada Derana reporter said.
The assaulted students, age between 23 to 25, have been admitted to the Sandalankawa District hospital for treatments.
The police said an investigation is underway with respect of the incident following a complaint made by the undergraduates.
