A foreigner who escaped from the Mirihana detention center has been arrested by Payagala Police.
A German national, arrested for illegal stay in Sri Lanka, had reportedly escaped the Mirihana detention center on Wednesday (8).
Payagala Police said that the suspect was arrested in the Katukurunda area yesterday (9) and that he will be produced before the Kalutara Magistrate today.
