The naval personnel, during a search, have recovered 31 kg of Kerala Cannabis in two baggage abandoned in Aliyawalai Lagoon.
The navy said that the stock of cannabis was found by a team attached to the Naval Deployment Vettilerkerni in the Northern Naval Command.
The stock of cannabis was handed over to the Maradankeni Police for onward legal action.
