
Four men, who are said to be former LTTE cadres, arrested on the allegation of plotting to assassinate Tamil legislator M.A. Sumanthiran, have been remanded until 27 December, Ada Derana reporter said.
They were remanded after being produced before the Kilinochchi Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
The Terrorism Investigation Department had arrested four former LTTE cadres in the Tamil-majority Northern Province for plotting to assassinate the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) Parliamentarian, earlier last month.
