Three arrested over Kerala Cannabis dealing

Three individuals allegedly involved in the dealing of Kerala Cannabis, have been arrested by the Elawali police,the police said.  

 

Elawali police stated that upon acting on a tip-off, the three-wheeler carrying the individuals and the cannabis was searched, while the suspects were arrested and the cargo confiscated. 

 

The confiscated goods included 11 parcels of Kerala Cannabis, weighing up to 25 kilo grams. 

 

The suspects arrested are believed to be residents from Colombo, Kotahena and Jaffna regions. 

 

Elawali Police revealed that they are currently conducting further investigations into the matter.
