An investigation has been launched after an OIC had allegedly assaulted a Sargent at the Yatiyantota Police station, police said.
The invention is underway following directives from an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).
The assaulted cop was admitted to the Avissawella hospital for treatments, it was reported.
