Train accident kills 1 while critically injuring another

One individual has been killed, while another had suffered serious injuries after the individuals have been hit by a train in Kollupitiya, police said.
The train was on its way to the Colombo Fort Railway station.
The individual, who had suffered serious injuries, has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at the General Hospital in Colombo.
Kollupitiya Police have begun further investigations on the incident.
