One injured after gunman opens fire at three-wheel

A person was wounded after an unidentified gunman opened fire at him while traveling in a three-wheeler in the Handapanagoda area in Ingiriya. 

 

The shooting had taken place in close proximity to the victim’s house while he was returning home after attending the hearing of a case taken up at the Horana Magistrate’s Court earlier today (15).  

 

He has been admitted to the Horana Hospital with a gunshot wound in his arm, Ada Derana reporter said. 

 

No suspects have been identified so far over the shooting while Horana Police is conducting further investigations.
