Suspect arrested over suspicious death of 19-year-old

Police have begun investigations on the suspicious death of a 19-year-old in the Balakotuwa area.
The victim was found dead with slashes from a possible sharp object, on 19 December 2016, police reveal.
A suspect linked to the death of the individual was arrested, last Sunday (12), and questioned where the suspect stated that the individual had been trespassing over a property and had been hit by an electric cable, causing the wounds.
Under the order of the Judiciary, the body will be re-examined, police state.
