SriLankan Airlines wishes today announced that the airline has activated Communicable Disease Procedures on its flights that are operating in and out of Male.
The move comes inthe wake of the outbreak of the swine flu epidemic in the Maldives Islands and its Health Protection Agency’s (HPA) travel advice to the general public to restrict movements.
“Accordingly the crew will be wearing face masks and will provide a face mask to any passenger who requests one to wear during a flight,” Sri Lanka’s national carrier said.
Issuing a statement, the airline said that these proactive measures have been taken in the best interest of all passengers and crew.
