A body of a school girl has been found from the Lake Gregory in Nuwara Eliya, police said.
The body was recovered following a tip-off received by the Nuwara Eliya police last evening.
The deceased has been identified as a 16-year-old girl from Magastota area. Police believe the victim may have committed suicide. Her post-mortem will be held at the Nuwara Eliya General hospital.
