Discussions were held between Chief Ministers from the Sri Lankan Freedom Party (SLFP) and the President on the current political situation, yesterday (27).
Details on the local government and provincial council elections that will be held in the future were also discussed, during the meeting.
President had stated that the SLFP will strongly oppose the decision to postpone the elections.
