
The recommendations suggested by a committee appointed to probe the controversial appointment of a High Court Judge have been submitted to the Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL), it was reported.
BASL Secretary Amal Randeniya said the set of recommendations will be handed over to the executive committee of the association on Wednesday (05).
He added the committee which includes former BASL presidents has suggested several recommendations.
Earlier, the Judicial Service Association (JSA) also adopted a resolution and approved unanimously at an emergency general meeting held on 1 April over the appointment of HC Judge Ramanathan Kannan.
