Armed robbery at petrol station in Piliyandala

Two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle have robbed a petrol station at Siddhamulla in Piliyandala, and made off with around Rs. 380,000 in cash.
The police stated that the two robbers had arrived at the petrol station at around 07.20 pm yesterday (6) clad in black and wearing masks, and terrorized the staff by shooting into the air.
They had then stolen the cash in the possession of three employees of the petrol station before fleeing the location.
Piliyandala Police have begun further investigations into the incident.
