Two doctors arrested for attempting to climb water tank tower

A couple who are said to be doctors were arrested while they were allegedly attempting to climb the water tank tower at the Colombo National Hospital , police said.
The couple was arrested at around 11.00 pm last evening following a tip-off provided by the security officials, police added.
The two doctors, 33 and 29 year-old, are to be engaged within few weeks, it was also reported.
In their statement before the police, they have apprised the officials that they intended to climb the tower because ‘they just felt they needed to climb it.’
The male doctor has been identified as a resident of Nugegoda while the female doctor is from Kundasale. They have been released on police bail.
