One dead, 3 injured after shooting and stabbing incident in Ambalantota

A person was killed while another 3 were critically wounded following a shooting incident and a subsequent knife attack in the Mamadala area in Ambalantota.
Two motorcyclists reportedly arrived at a social gathering at Alegoda in Mamadala this evening and proceeded to open fire at the attendees.
Afterwards one person was murdered in a knife attack while another 3 persons had sustained critical injuries, Ada Derana reporter said.
The injured have been admitted to the Hambantota Hospital.
Police have so far made no arrests in connection with the incident.
