Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will start a four-day official visit to Vietnam on Monday to strengthen cooperation in several sectors, including trade and investment.
During the visit the Premier will discuss international and regional issues of mutual concern with his Vietnamese counterpart.
Prime Minister Wickremesinghe and his Vietnamese counterpart held discussions about strengthening the bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and Vietnam during the World Economic Summit in Switzerland in January this year.
They also discussed about appointing a high level joint commission to strengthen the relations between the two countries.
