
The Ceylon Transport Board received a revenue influx of Rs. 72 million, during the New Year season.
The sum was generated between the 06 and 16 of April, where the most revenue was generated from the Uva province, according to the ministry.
Furthermore, the revenue earned by the National Railway Service was 25% higher than that of last years.
The National railway service stated that the number of accidents reported this year have also experienced a significant decreased.
