Further investigations regarding the garbage heap in Gohagoda, Kandy will be conducted today (2), Professor Athula Senaratne says.
According to the Professor, the geographical area occupied by the heap will be subjected to an in-depth inspection.
Professor Athula Senaratne also stated that the activity of the garbage heap had increased due to weather conditions.
