Thilina Bandara takes positions of Pramitha Bandara

Thilina Bandara Tennakoon has been appointed to the Ministerial portfolios left vacant after the resignation of Pramitha Bandara Tennakoon.

 

Pramitha Bandara Tennakoon resigned from his portfolio as Central Province Minister of Industries due to the removal of his father from the post of SLFP Dambulla Organiser on April 25.

 

Thilina Bandara Thennakoon has been appointed as the Provincial Minister of Sports, Youth, Women, Rural Development and Industries in the Central Province.

 

President Maithripala Sirisena handed over the letter of appointment today (May 02) at the Presidential Secretariat.

 

Ministers Nimal Siripala de Silva, Mahinda Amaraweera, Duminda Dissanayake and the Chief Minister of Central Province Sarath Ekanayake and the Governor Niluka Ekanayake also present at this event.
