Elections commission to complete registration of parties

The Elections Commission of Sri Lanka stated that a final decision will be made on the registration of parties by the end of this month.
A spokes person from the commission stated that the interviews required have already been concluded and a final decision is yet to be made.
A total of 95 applicants had presented themselves for registration.
Out of the applicants, 64 parties have been registered as political parties in Sri Lanka, so far.
