Police yet to locate whereabouts of Gampola child and his uncle

The police are yet to locate the whereabouts of a 2-year-old child and his 26-year-old uncle who had gone missing since last morning.
According to police, the investigation teams are still uncertain whether the victims were abducted or not.
However, the initial reports suggested that the child and the uncle were abducted while they were on their way home near the Gampola bus stand.
The police launched its investigation after the mother of the child lodged a complaint with the Gampola police last afternoon.
