International forces were at play to defeat Mahinda Rajapaksa, and Donald Trump has confirmed that Barack Obama had allocated a sum of Rs. 454 million for this purpose, MP C. B. Ratnayake says.
He stated this at a media briefing held today (04) with the Joint Opposition.

Ratnayake stated that national and international forces had intervened to defeat Mahinda Rajapaksa resulting in the victory of the current government, and added that the public did not approve of the current government’s course of action.
MP Ratnayake further said that the when the displeased public joined hands with Mahinda Rajapaksa at the May Day rally, the government retaliated by withdrawing Rajapaksa’s military security, which shows their true colours.
The Joint Opposition stated that the leader who saved the country from terrorists was in grave danger when even those such as Sumanthiram were extended military security from the government, and urged all religious leaders to join forces with them.
