Chairman of the Sri Lanka Cricket Committee, Aravinda de Silva has decided to resign from his post.
Reports state that he had made this decision due to a personal reason.
Aravinda de Silva has handed in his formally letter of resignation to Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), a spokesperson confirmed.
However, a decision has not yet been made by SLC as to whether or not they would accept his resignation.
