
The Supreme Court has made the decision to postpone reviewing the Petition for Appeal submitted by the Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) till the 31 of May.
The petition was submitted by the GMOA against the ruling made by the Appeal Court in the case involving SAITM.
The Supreme Court made the decision after a request to change the date, made by the state attorney appearing on behalf of the Attorney-General, Ada Derana court correspondent said.
The Inter-Medical Faculty Students’ Action Committee engaged in a demonstration near the Supreme Court today (09) whilst the decision process was ongoing.
