A carried containing 9.3 kg of heroin that had been found floating off the coast of Kankasanthurai, Jaffna, has been seized by the Sri Lankan Navy.
The parcel which had been found floating in the sea, was later identified as heroin upon further investigation carried out by Police personnel.
The stock is believed to be worth around Rs. 90 million.
