Human bones found at construction site in Colombo

Several human bones have been discovered during excavations carried out at a construction site in Colombo Fort area, police said.
The bones were unearthed during the excavating carried out using a backhoe for the purpose of constructing a building at the location.
The bones discovered at the site appear to be human, however a final conclusion has not been made as to whether they are actually human remains.
Colombo Fort Police have launched an investigation into the discovery.
