Announcement to takeover Neville Fernando hospital to govt. today

An announcement to takeover the Neville Fernando Teaching Hospital in Malabe to the government will be submitted today, a top government minister said.
The Minister of Higher Education and Highway, Lakshman Kiriella stated that the necessary documents have been signed by both himself and the Minister of Health, Rajitha Senaratne.
The transfer of this asset, without any additional cost has been agreed upon by both parties.
Meanwhile, the GMOA has requested for the case to be presented to the courts without any delay, while a meeting to discuss the matter will be organized this afternoon.
