Met. Department predicts more rain

Several spells of showers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, Central and North-western provinces, the Met. Department said.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Uva and Eastern provinces and Anuradhapura district after 2.00 pm.
Fairly strong winds about 50 kmph can be expected over Matale and Polonnaruwa districts. Fairly strong winds about 50 kmph can be expected during showers as well.
General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
