SriLankan Airlines flights to Doha, Qatar will remain in operation as scheduled, the SriLankan Airlines media unit confirmed.
However, SriLankan Airlines will reportedly continue to monitor the situation in the Middle East closely.
Several countries including Bahrain, Egypt, Yemen and Saudi Arabia announced yesterday (05) that they would be severing diplomatic relations with Qatar and cutting off air and sea connections with Doha.
The Arab nations made the decision upon stating that Qatar was backing terrorist groups.
Qatar denied the accusation, but airlines such as Emirates, Etihad Airways and FlyDubai suspended all flights to the country.
