Post floods: DMC assures all cleaning up will be taken care of

The Disaster Management Center released a statement stating that measures have been taken to help clean out the debris that has collected due to the floods.
They added that around 15000 individuals are still being accommodated at the temporary safety camps around the affected areas.
The Deputy Director of the Disaster Management Center, Pradeep Kodipilla advised residents living in low lying areas, near rivers and streams likely to overflow, to remain attentive during the monsoon season.
