A footage has been released Thursday which showed Tourism Development and Christian Affairs Minister John Amaratunga of losing his temper and using indecent language at a reporter.
The Minister was seen scolding the reporter using indecent language when a question was thrown at him on dumping garbage at a site in Bopitiya, Wattala area.
The reporter received the reprimand as he pointed out an allegation has been leveled that Minister John Amaratunga was responsible for directing to dump garbage at the site.
“Do not report lies,” the Minister said while responding to the query with indecent language.
However, the reporter had later responded saying that he asked the question since an allegation has been raised against the Minister.
