The President has advised to increase the monthly allowance paid to kidney patients by Rs.2000.
The Presidential Media Division said that accordingly, Rs.3000 paid to kidney patients will be increased to Rs.5000.
Currently, the government pays this monthly allowance for some 20,000 families across the country, it was reported.
