Former Army Intelligence chief, (Retired) Major General Kapila Hendawitharana has given a statement to the Finical Crime Investigation Division (FCID) on Wednesday.
Hendawitharana had arrived at the FCID at around 9.30 pm, it was reported.
According to the officials, Hendawitharana has been summoned to record a statement regarding a financial deal.
