No written notification was provided regarding Vigneswaran yet

The Governor of the Northern Province, Reginald Cooray stated that he had not received a written notification of the decision taken by the leader of the Tamil National Alliance on C.V. Vigneswaran.
He added that although he was notified about the decision regarding Vigneswaran over telephone, a written notification has still not been handed over.
The comments were made after a motion of no confidence was presented against the actions taken up by the Chief Minister of the Northern Province, C.V. Vigneswaran, by 21 members of the provincial council.
However a decision has been made to retract the motion of no confidence presented against Vigneswaran.
