The Parliament has been adjourned briefly for a party leaders’ meeting, Ada Derana reporter said.
This came after a tense situation erupted at the House during the debate on dengue epidemic a short while ago on Tuesday.
The special Parliament sitting was set to debate a motion on dengue fever, as more than 60,000 people have been diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease so far this year.
