The Colombo High Court Tuesday sentenced a man to life imprisonment who was arrested by the Police Narcotic Bureau on drug trafficking charges.
The judgment was delivered when the case was taken up for hearing before High Court Judge Wikum Kaluarachchi.
The accused, a resident of Slave Island, was arrested for possession of 3.44 grams of heroin in 2009.
