Additional Solicitor General President’s Counsel Dappula de Livera has been appointed as the Acting Attorney-General.
President’s Counsel Dappula de Livera is also the attorney cross-examining on behalf of the Attorney-General’s Department at the Presidential Commission of Inquiry tasked with probing into the alleged bond scandal of the Central Bank.
Accordingly, the new appointment was announced at the Presidential Commission of Inquiry today (23).
