Five arrested over Ragama shooting

Five suspects have been arrested over the incident where a group of people opened fire at a van carrying cash in Ragama and robbed Rs.780000 , on the 26 of last month (June).
The car was en route to an apparel store in Kadawatha, the police. The driver in his statement to the cops has stated that he was also threatened at gunpoint by the suspects
According to the police spokesman’s office, an investigation has been commenced to identify and arrest the involved suspects.
No casualties were reported in the incident.
