Those desperate to remain in power would only oppose the new Constitution, Minister Sajith Premadasa said.
Premadasa pointed out certain individuals are against the decision to abolish the executive presidency and those are the ones who oppose the new Constitution.
The Minister made these remarks while speaking at an event held in Mahakurunda, Galle.
