Parliament to felicitate PM’s 40 years of service

Party leaders have agreed to conduct a special felicitation session of Parliament on behalf of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

 

Accordingly, the special session has been scheduled for August 04.

 

Leaders of political parties yesterday (06) expressed their agreement to the suggestion to felicitate the Prime Minister’s 40 years of service to the Parliament.

 

Meanwhile, today’s (07) parliamentary session is scheduled to commence at 10:30 am.

 

11 private proposals from MPs are expected to be taken up for debate.
